What Happened on ¡Mira Quién Baila!?
New season, new judge, new choreographer and new dances… That’s how the fourth season of ¡Mira Quién Baila! started, with a spectacular musical number performed by the popular reality dance competition’s new judge, Ninel Conde, along with the third season’s winner, Dominican singer, Henry Santos.
During an energetic presentation, the 10 contestants joined together to dance for the first time this season: Graciela Beltrán, El Dasa, Johnny Lozada, Yolandita Monge, Mane de la Parra, Marjorie de Sousa, Malillany, Maria Elisa Camargo, Manny Manuel y Pedro Moreno.
The contestants were divided into pairs where they faced each other in specific dance genres and performed their routines before the judges. Graciela Beltrán and El Dasa performed regional Mexican routines; Mane de la Parra and Yolandita Monge in tango; Johnny Lozada and Malillany in quick step; and Pedro Moreno and Marjorie de Sousa in Urban.
The winners of the challenges were: El Dasa, Johnny Lozada, Manny Manuel, Pedro Moreno and Mane de la Parra, having made the first show a Gentleman’s Night.
Later in the show when the winners performed their second dance routines, the judges chose the favorites for the night; Johnny Lozada and El Dasa, who caused a sensation dancing lambada and salsa. Next Sunday, we will find out who the audience chose as their favorite after voting with telephone numbers and through social media using the “hashtag,” #MQBJohnny VOTA or #MQBElDasa VOTA.
Don’t miss the second show where there will be more dances, more anxiety and emotions since nominations have begun. The excitement and the dancing cannot be contained on ¡Mira Quién Baila!, Sundays at 8/7 CT on Univision.
