Tubi’s “The Freak Brothers” Event at the Fred Segal Store in Los Angeles
Last night, Tubi, FOX's free streaming service, hosted an event at the iconic Fred Segal in Los Angeles to honor the platform's hit animated series, "The Freak Brothers." Joined by Pete Davidson ("Saturday Night Live"), John Goodman ("The Connors"), Blake Anderson ("Workaholics") and Andrea Savage ("Veep"), Phil LaMarr ("Futurama") and Danny Gendron, the Fred Segal store was transformed into "The Freak Brothers" universe, bringing the animated series to life.
The Freak Brothers is set in modern-day San Francisco and features four cannabis-loving, time-traveling "Freaks" from the late 1960s. After smoking a magic strain of weed, Franklin (Woody Harrelson), Phineas (Pete Davidson), Freddy (John Goodman), and Kitty (Tiffany Haddish) are Rip-Van-Winkled into the future. They wake up 50 years later and have to navigate the modern world, and befriend Chuck (Adam Devine) & Charlie (Blake Anderson), Harper (Andrea Savage), Gretchen (La La Anthony) and ScHoolboy Q along the way.
