SiriusXM Launches Carlos Vives Radio During Hispanic Heritage Month
SiriusXM announced the launch of Carlos Vives Radio, a limited-engagement channel celebrating the 2024 Latin GRAMMY Person of the Year and cultural icon, Carlos Vives.
Celebrating 30 years of his music during Hispanic Heritage Month, Carlos Vives Radio showcases the impact he's had on the industry and airs hits from his extensive music catalog over the years. Hosted and curated by Carlos Vives himself, listeners will hear the icon give a retrospective on his celebrated career and share insights on his memorable collaborations and life moments.
The channel will feature Carlos Vives' biggest hits, along with songs from a variety of his musical influences including Jorge Celedón, Juanes, Maluma, Marc Anthony, Laura Pausini, Los Inquietos del Vallenato, Rafael Escalona, Rolling Stones, Shakira, The Beatles and many more.
The channel also includes several guest-hosted shows that give an exclusive look into Carlos Vives' musical journey, including "Nuestro Rock," which highlights rock favorites Charly García, David Byrne, Juanes, Rolling Stones and more. Additional shows airing include "Vallenatos Desesperados," celebrating his favorite vallenatos Binomio de Oro, Diomedes Díaz, Los Inquietos del Vallenato and more, and "Mis Colaboraciones Memorables," including songs from his most memorable collaborations with Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, Shakira and others.
