This December, Amor en Navidad, a festive four episode series, available via streaming on Canela.TV, is here to add to those sacred family moments during this Christmas season. In great contrast to the Christmas content that we usually see every year, this series is made up of stories that remind us of the meaning of the holidays, the importance of family, and reconciliation, from our Latino perspective.

With the help of well-known Hispanic protagonists, these emotional stories, charged with nostalgia and joy, show everything that makes love appear around every corner during these festive times. The first season has the participation of Juan Soler, Gaby Spanic, Briggitte Bozzo, Danna García, Cristian de la Fuente, Elluz Peraza, Marlene Favela, Carlos Mata, Ricardo Álamo, Patty Manterola and Rafael Novoa.

This series is available now to watch whenever on Canela.TV in the US and Latin America. Below is a brief synopsis of the episodes of Amor en Navidad. 

La Mejor Navidad 

After the divorce, Gloria (Gaby Spanic) decides to stay in Miami to take care of her children, while Eduardo (Juan Soler) returns to his hometown to take care of the agave ranch he inherited from his family. But in recent years, the ambitious Gloria has devoted her body and soul to her work in Miami, so much so that her children have taken a backseat. Due to her work commitments, Gloria finds herself under pressure to send her children to spend Christmas at her ex-husband's ranch, a decision she never thought would change their lives forever, and when circumstances force her to spend Christmas as a family, she discovers that happiness and love are often hidden in the simplest things.

Deliciosa Navidad

Máximo (Rafael Novoa), is a prestigious "Michelin Star Chef", passionate about molecular food. He inherits a restaurant in Mexico from his father that is run by Luciana (Patty Manterola), an intuitive cook determined to rescue the flavors of her land. But although they are both lovers of cooking, their similarities end there. But when Maximo embarks on a journey of reconciliation with his past, his roots and his wounds, he never imagined that on this journey he would also discover love. Together, Luciana and Maximo will form the best dish: the explosive combination between tradition and innovation, in the heart of the Colonial zone of Guadalajara.

Una Navidad para Recordar

Sebastián (Cristián de la Fuente) hates Christmas and after a hard divorce, this will be particularly difficult for him, since it is the first time he's gone without his children. He decides to get away from the city and spend the season in the house he grew up in, where his sisters Isabel and Ángela (Elluz Peraza) live, as well as his mother Ángela, who suffers from Alzheimer's. There he meets his mother's nurse, Marta (Danna García), who teaches him that the best medicine is affection and a sense of humor. In this brief and nostalgic festive season, Sebastián rediscovers his faith in life, reconciles with his family, finds a new path for love and recovers the love of Christmas.

Una Papá para Navidad

Rebeca (Marlene Favela) is a social media star, giving advice to her followers on how to have "a perfect family", when coincidently hers is far from that. She has been so dazzled by fame and recognition that her family has taken a backseat. But one Christmas a stranger shows up at her door claiming that he is her father (Carlos Mata) who abandoned her many years ago. Although at first, she doesn't want to know anything about him, circumstances force her to spend some time with him. With the magic of Christmas and time with family, Rebeca understands that her family, her husband (Ricardo Alamo) and her daughters, are her most valuable possessions.
