‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ Global Press Conference
Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald's growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?
Entertainment Affair recently joined Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander) and co-stars Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Jessica Williams (Eulalie Hicks), Jude Law (Albus Dumbledore), Mads Mikkelsen (Gellert Grindelwald), Victoria Yeates (Bunty) and William Nadylam (Yusuf Kama); producers David Heyman and Tim Lewis; and director David Yates for a virtual press conference to discuss the highly anticipated third installment of the Fantastic Beasts movie series. You can watch the full press conference above.
The film has its own magic and is an undeniable pleasure. Director David Yates delivers a movie big on brisk and light entertainment. Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is joined by franchise scribe Steve Kloves making this venture into the Wizarding World feel more imaginative and consistent. Ironically, the movie falters a bit every time it tries to connect with storylines from the Potter saga making it feel a bit forced and anticlimactic.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore is in theaters April 15, 2022.
