Ralphy Dreamz: Changing the Bachata scene one Mexican song at a time
For Ralphy Dreamz, creating something different in the Bachata scene has always been one of his goals since he started in the music industry at age 16. Within the last 10 years or so, there hasn’t been much movement in the Bachata genre, which pretty much only counts with 2 major artists, which is why Ralphy set out to make a difference. Born in New Jersey and raised in South Florida, where he still currently resides with his Dominican parents, Ralphy has taken on a new approach when it comes to his music. Part of that includes launching covers of famous Mexican corridos or bandas, and he has shown to be successful in his attempt. Entertainment Affair recently sat down to chat with the rising star about his music, his approach to Bachata, as well as what’s next for his career. His most recent EP, El Verde es Vida, is now available on all digital platforms.
