Charismatic Santiago Mendoza (Demián Bichir) owns the hotel, while his glamorous second wife, Gigi (Roselyn Sánchez), and their adult children enjoy the spoils of success. The hotel's loyal staff round out a contemporary, fresh take on an upstairs/downstairs story.
