Pedro Capó Returns With “Aquila,” His New Album, On Sale Now
Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, Pedro Capó, returns to the music scene with “Aquila.” The artist describes the record as a “very personal” project that exposes his innermost feelings and experiences.
“Aquila,” on sale now, captures the essence of the award-winning singer, who in the past years has faced challenges in life. The record depicts how to stay positive while dealing with heartbreak and finding happiness.
For this album, Pedro Capó worked with producer George Noriega. The album, recorded in Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico and Puerto Rico, presents an adaptation of the Bohemian style that the singer-songwriter has become well known for. “I went with it,” confessed Capó, referring to the ideas of the producer, who certainly added a touch of experience to the 12 songs, which included collaborations with composers such as Kany Garcia, Pablo Preciado, Rafael Esparza and Luis Fernando Ochoa.
Referred to as one of the most beloved Puerto Rican singer-songwriters of his generation, Pedro Capó wanted his new work to be perceived differently from his first project, due to his musical growth throughout the years.
The 12 tracks featured on “Aquila” are: “Todo Me Recuerda a Ti”, “#Fiebredeamor”, “Para Ayudarte a Reír”, “Qué Pasaría”, “Qué Fuimos” (feat. Matisse), “Compartir La Soledad”, “Libre”, “Pido Perdón”, “Más De Lo Que Soy”, “Al Final”, “Vivo” and “Agua Bendita” (feat. Raquel Sofía).
Pedro Capó recently finished filming for the movie Blood Brothers and is currently in the United States on a promotional tour with stops including Puerto Rico, Los Angeles and Miami. On August 16th, Capó will be performing at the Uforia Music Festival in Los Angeles, CA.
