Latin TV show host and actor, Carlos McConnie, is fully focused on his upcoming work as co-host for the eight season of Univision’s wildly successful reality show beauty pageant, Nuestra Belleza Latina; which began airing Sunday, February 16^th.

“I’ll mainly be in charge of the social media aspect of the show where there is a lot of activity generated. We are making our audience an active part of the show and asking them to participate in the Nuestra Belleza Latina conversation by using the hashtag #NBL,” said McConnie.

Following the success of Mira Quien Baila’s record breaking 4^th season, where the Puerto Rican born and raised McConnie recently co-hosted, he re-joins Univision holding many unaired behind the scenes secrets and exclusive content to be shared through the social media sites: Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

In this revamped season of Nuestra Belleza Latina, Carlos McConnie will join hosts Chiquinquirá Delgado, Pedro Moreno and Alejandra Espinoza. Another addition to this season are ex-Miss Universes’ Alicia Machado and Denisse Quiñonez, who will each lead a team of participants. Returning as judges are Osmel Sousa and Lupita Jones, as well as a yet to be announced surprise judge.

“This is a very important moment in my career as an international TV show host. I’m very proud of the fact that Univision has included me in both of its most successful and relevant productions in recent years, first with Mira Quien Baila, and now returning on Nuestra Belleza Latina,” affirmed McConnie.

The NBL Extra franchise will also repeat McConnie as host, joined in this occasion by Alejandra Espinoza. NBL Extra, the official post-show will live-stream on UVideos.com following the airing of each Nuestra Belleza Latina gala; and deals are in the works to air NBL Extra on Galavision and some of Univision’s local markets in the same way that MQB Extra was distributed. “NBL Extra is an online extension of the on-air galas. During this show I’ll obtain the participants and the judges first reactions,” commented the young heartthrob.
