MundoFox announced the premiere of “Cumbia Ninja,” a new original drama series about an idealistic young musician who decides to fight crime and maintain peace in the dangerous slum he calls home. “Cumbia Ninja” premieres Sunday, January 19 at 9PM/8C on MundoFox.

Set in “La Colina,” a Latin American slum controlled by drug dealers, the new drama series tells the story of Hache and his buddies, who develop a very particular way of cleaning up the streets where they live. But to succeed, they enlist the help of Xiang Wu, an old Chinese ninja master that lives alone atop a nearby hill, and an ancient dragon named Sungaku. This Fox International Channels original production blends Latin rhythms and original songs with mind-blowing visuals and mixed martial arts to create an engaging and entertaining viewing experience for all.

Mexican singer and actor Ricardo Abarca; Argentinean sweetheart Brenda Asnicar; Latin heartthrob Christian Meier; Rubén Zamora, who currently stars in ‘Alias El Mexicano’ and the upcoming ‘El Capo 3’; and renowned Venezuelan actress, Ruddy Rodríguez are just a few of the names that make up this star-studded cast of over 100 actors from across Latin America.
