NBC's 'Grimm' Tackles the Legend of 'El Cucuy' on Friday, November 29
“Grimm” is no stranger to adapting lore from around the world with stories from Japan, Haiti and Germany influencing the storytelling of the hit drama series. Last season, “Grimm” borrowed from one of Latin America’s most infamous urban legends “La Llorona” for a well-received Halloween episode with guest star Kate del Castillo. On Friday, November 29, “Grimm” returns with a new episode inspired by another Latin American urban legend, “El Cucuy.” The episode centers on a mysterious vigilante taking things into their own hands to clean up the neighborhood. Just like in “La Llorona” portions of the dialogue will be in Spanish in scenes featuring Bitsie Tulloch and Bertila Damas who returns a Pilar. Manny Montana (USA Network’s “Graceland”) also guest stars in the episode.

11/29/2013 (09:00PM - 10:00PM) (Friday) : A VIGILANTE TAKES NEW SHAPE TO CLEAN UP THE NEIGHBORHOOD – MANNY MONTANA GUEST STARS -- Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are on the case as repeat instances of apparent vigilantism have whispers of an old Spanish legend making their way through a working-class Portland neighborhood. Elsewhere, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) learns the truth about Nick’s mother. Meanwhile, Adalind (Claire Coffee) has a brief scare during her ultrasound. Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee and Bree Turner also star.
