In response to the devastation in Mexico as a result of Tropical Storm Manuel and Hurricane Ingrid, MundoFox and the rest of the FOX channels have led a campaign to raise funds to support the American Red Cross’ efforts to bring relief to victims in the storm-ravaged areas.

As part of the network’s relief campaign, MundoFox aired a special program, "100 Latinos Se Unieron Para Ayudar a México" (100 Latinos Joined Forces to Help Mexico), on October 3^rd, hosted by Marco Antonio Regil. In this special episode of “100 Latinos Dijeron,” MundoFox’s news team led by Network News Anchor, Rolando Nichols, went head-to-head with a team of comedians led by Carlos Espejel, star of Fox International Channels’ original series “Familia en Venta” (Family for Sale). Each of the participating teams earned $10,000 for a total of $20,000 going directly to the American Red Cross to aid in relief efforts. Furthermore, throughout the one-hour special, viewers were encouraged to join the campaign and donate towards the cause.

In addition to the special, a large component of the network’s relief and call to action is the series of celebrity public service announcements that have been airing throughout the week on MundoFox and other FOX networks. These PSAs are messages of hope and encouragement that invite the public to support the campaign and donate to the American Red Cross.
