The Latin Recording Academy^® announced nominations for the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards^® at a press conference attended by national and international media at the Avalon in Hollywood, Calif. The event was streamed live at LatinGRAMMY.com (and is now available as video on demand), and was hosted by The Latin Recording Academy^® President/CEO Gabriel Abaroa Jr., and Univision television personality Chiquinquira "Chiqui" Delgado. Artists reading nominations this morning included nine-time GRAMMY^® winner Natalie Cole, Latin GRAMMY^® winner Aida Cuevas, bachata artist Leslie Grace, singer/songwriter Gaby Moreno, two-time Latin GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter Draco Rosa, singer/songwriter Syntek, and five-time Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY winner Julieta Venegas.

Best Urban Performance has been added in the Urban Field, bringing the total number of categories to be recognized at the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards to 48 in 18 Fields.
