MundoFox today announced that award-winning Latin recording artists Belinda and Chino & Nacho, and Mexican television and music icon Angélica María have been confirmed as the celebrity judges of “El Factor X,” slated to premiere for the first time in the U.S. this summer. Following the massive success of “The X Factor” in the U.S. and around the world, this original Spanish-language version launching on MundoFox will feature young contestants from 8 to 15 years old and will give U.S. Latino viewers the opportunity to choose the next young Latino superstar or breakout music group.

Bringing her own first-hand experience in youth and stardom to the show is child actress turned recording artist, Belinda. Belinda released her debut solo record by the age of 14, and has since released three additional albums that together have sold over 16 million copies worldwide and earned her three Latin Grammy Award nominations and two Latin American MTV Video Music Awards to date.

Joining her are Chino & Nacho, the popular Venezuelan duo whose wide-ranging romantic, tropical music style has catapulted them into global stardom as they deliver international chart-topping mega hits, including "Mi Niña Bonita," which climbed to the top of the Billboard Latin Songs chart in 2010.

The judging panel will also count on the expertise of Angélica María, also known as “La Novia de México” (Mexico’s Sweetheart). The nation’s top young singers and vocal groups will have to impress this American-born Mexican actress, singer-songwriter, whose countless years in show business have made her one of the most beloved and respected Mexican personalities of all time.

The judges will travel to top cities in the U.S. searching for undiscovered talent from 8 to 15 years old, both solo artists and vocal groups. Open auditions for the series will also take place across the country, attracting young aspiring hopefuls looking to make their dream of becoming the next big singing sensation come true. The auditions have been set and will start on June 8 in Los Angeles before visiting New York City (June 22) and Miami (June 29).
