Universal CityWalk Sets the Stage for Spring Break with its Free Spring ‘Music Spotlight Series’ at ‘5 Towers,’ Featuring an All-Star Line Up of Eclectic Street Performers and Talented Emerging Artists 

Multi-Talented Musician and Star of “Shake it Up,” Roshon Fegan to Kick Off Music Series, Joined by Rising Star and CityWalk Street Performer, Chelsea Williams

Versatile musician, actor and dancer, Roshon Fegan, star of “Shake It Up,” “Dancing With the Stars” and the “Camp Rock” movie franchise starring the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, will kick off Universal CityWalk’s free spring “Music Spotlight Series,” featuring a dynamic mix of accomplished CityWalk Street Performers and talented emerging artists.  Concert performances will take place every Friday and Saturday night at 7pm from March 22 to April 20, 2013.

Opening night will also celebrate CityWalk’s prolific Street Performers with an appearance by rising pop star and veteran Street Performer Chelsea Williams. Chelsea has persevered in Tinseltown earning her stripes as the opening act for Grammy® award winner Dwight Yoakam, appearing in Maroon 5’s “Daylight” music video and selling over 100,000 copies of her self-produced CD.

Performances throughout the Music Spotlight Series will include such artists as: Street Performer and acoustic guitar singer Eddie Gomez; Leon Thomas III from Nickelodeon’s “Victorious;” IM5, a boy band backed by “American Idol” creator, Simon Fuller; pop rock trio Artist vs. Poet featuring Joe Kirkland from “The Voice”; “American Idol” season nine winner Lee DeWyze; singer, bassist and guitarist Keaton Simons; pop crooner Thomas Fiss; Cody Longo of Teen Nick and Nick at Nite’s “Hollywood Heights;” and pop vocalist Jackson Harris.
