Wisin & Yandel Sold Out in Argentina and Paraguay
This weekend Wisin & Yandel demonstrated once again why they are urban Latin music's leading artists, selling out their concerts at the prestigious Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the Jockey Club in Asunción, Paraguay. More than 28,000 fans (combined) experienced the spectacular performances of their idols, remaining on their feet, dancing, singing and shouting during the nearly two-hour long concerts.
Wisin & Yandel opened the show with cinematographic visuals, which reappeared throughout the course of the concert, taking the audience on a voyage through various stages in their career, concentrating especially on the greatest hits of their albums: "Pal World", "Los Extraterrestres", "La Revolución" and "Líderes". Along with their 10-piece band, eight dancers and state of the art sound and lighting equipment, the duo performed "Rakata", "Pegao", "Me Estas Tentando", "Ahora Es", "Sexy Movimiento", "Estoy Enamorado", "Tu Olor", "Abusadora", "Te Siento", " Hay Algo Que Me Gusta de Ti", and current hit single "Te Deseo" among many others, with the energy, passion and charisma that has always set them apart.
From Argentina, Wisin & Yandel travel to Chile where they will perform at the Viña del Mar Music Festival, marking the second time they perform at the prestigious event.
Wisin & Yandel's latest single "Algo Me Gusta de Ti" (feat. Chris Brown and T-Pain) recently topped Billboard's "Latin Songs" Chart at #1 for more than ten consecutive weeks --- something the industry has not seen happen with a song in many years. With "Algo Me Gusta de Ti", the dúo also set the record for most #1 songs for a duo or group with this, their tenth #1. "Algo Me Gusta de Ti" is the second single off their latest album "LIDERES", which debuted at #1 in July and is still at the top of the Latin Album charts. The artists also reached #1 in the US, Puerto Rico, Mexico and many other countries with the first track off the album "Follow the Leader" (feat. Jennifer Lopez). The video for "Follow the Leader" has been phenomenally successful, reaching more than 100 million views on YouTube. Current single "Te Deseo" just impacted radio in the US and Puerto Rico and it is already in the Top 10.
