In an effort to promote Latino culture, while providing films rarely accessible to the Hispanic community in the United States, The University of Guadalajara Foundation and The Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) have carefully selected a wide variety of FICG's award winning films to proudly showcase in the City of Los Angeles during its Muestra de Cine GuadaLAjara from October 12-14th in Los Angeles, CA. that will be 'Free' to the public.  Muestra de Cine GuadaLAjara will take place at AMC Theatres at Universal City Walk.

The University of Guadalajara Foundation held a press conference on Friday, October 5th in Los Angeles announcing the Muestra de Cine GuadaLAjara scheduled events, red carpets, tributes that will be held throughout the weekend.  Also included on hand Ivan Trujillo, director of The International Guadalajara Film Festival, actress, Yareli Arizmendi (Like Water For Chocolate, A Day Without A Mexican),director/producer/writer, Sergio Arau (A Day Without A Mexcican) & more.
