"Sin Respiración" Performed by Banda El Recodo

Yet again, a song written by SESAC Latina-affiliated composers in the United States reigns at #1 on the Regional Mexican airplay charts, as tabulated by Nielsen BDS and published in Billboard (for the chart weeks ending August 11 and August 18, 2012).

Performed by the legendary Banda El Recodo de D. Cruz Lizárraga, the song "Sin Respiración" (Breathless) is in its second week and #1 and is written by SESAC Latina affiliates Hernán Soto Sillas and Martín Castro.

"Sin Respiración" is taken from La Mejor De Todas, the most recent album by this group from Sinaloa, Mexico, which has been going strong for an amazing 74 years and is in the midst of a huge U.S. tour.

According to information from Universal Music Latin Entertainment, this song's #1 position means that it's "one of the most listened-to and requested by the public."
