It appears as if American Idol wants a stellar judging panel this upcoming season. A few weeks ago it was reported that Mariah Carey would be signing on to the show for a whopping 18 million dollars! Earlier today TMZ reported that Kanye West was in the talks with American Idol about possibly being on the judging panel. However, it seems as if Kanye wants to continue negotiating. Kanye appears very interested but a contract has not been negotiated. It was reported that he might want as much or more than our lovely Mariah!

I guess we'll wait and see who are the next judges on American Idol.
