Suspense and Action Dominate the Stellar Original Production Being Taped in New York City and Miami

Telemundo Studios has begun production of its new telenovela “El Rostro de la Venganza” (The Face of Revenge), a story of a man who must face the harsh reality that freedom brings, after living 20 years in prison. This powerful story features a stellar cast that includes leading actors Saul Lisazo, Maritza Rodriguez, Elizabeth Gutierrez, and David Chocarro, in his first starring role.

Taped in New York City and Miami, “El Rostro de la Venganza” – an original story written by Sebastian Arrau – features an all-star cast that also includes Felicia Mercado, Roberto Mateos, Gaby Rivero, Jonathan Islas, Eduardo Serrano, Jorge Eduardo, Cynthia Olavarria, Juan Cespedes, Chela Arias, Christian Carabias, Wanda D’Isidoro, Rafael León, Jaqueline Marquez, Paloma Marquez, Jose Cortines, William Valdes and Yina Vélez

Although his parents turned their back on him once he went to prison, Diego (David Chocarro) will find support in a group of people who will help him cope with his new life, finding new friends, as well as new enemies. These people include his therapist, Antonia Villarroel (Maritza Rodriguez), his benefactor, Ezequiel Alvarado (Saul Lisazo) and Ezequiel’s fiancée, Mariana San Lucas (Elizabeth Gutierrez). The lives and stories of these characters will intertwine in a web of intrigue, suspense, action and love that will capture viewers from the first episode.
