The lovely GENESIS RODRIGUEZ (Casa de mi Padre; Man on a Ledge) hosted a special screening of Disneynature's upcoming True Life Adventure CHIMPANZEE for 100 children of the Boys & Girls Club of East LA and Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots LA chapter last Thursday, April 12.

Though Genesis was not involved in the making of CHIMPANZEE, she is a huge fan of the film and a supporter of the campaign to help protect chimpanzees through Disneynature's partnership with Jane Goodall Institute.

SYNOPSIS:
Disneynature takes moviegoers deep into the forests of Africa with “Chimpanzee,” a new True Life Adventure introducing an adorable young chimpanzee named Oscar and his entertaining approach to life in a remarkable story of family bonds and individual triumph.
