Mexican superstar, Cristian Castro continues his streak at the top. Last night, Cristian took home two awards for Album Artist of the Year, Male and Latin Pop Albums Artist of the Year, Solo at the 23rd Annual Latin Billboard Awards.

During the telecast, Cristian honored the unforgettable Selena, singing one of her greatest hits, "Como La Flor", which was featured on her last album, "Enamorada De Ti". Today, Selena Quintanilla's legacy lives on through her music which continues to hold a strong presence on the charts throughout the world.

During the past few months, Cristian Castro has be touring South America performing sold out shows. In 2011, Billboard Magazine named Cristian as the latin pop artist of the year in it's Year In Music edition thanks to the success he had with his last album, Viva El Principe, which became the top selling latin pop album of the year in Mexico and the United States.

The Latin Billboard Awards is a recognition of latin music's top albums, songs, and artists of the year as determined by sales and radio airplay. The awards were held the evening of April 26th, and were produced and televised live through Telemundo network.
