"Wrath of the Titans" Brings Action, Drama, and Amazing Special Effects

"Wrath of the Titans", sequel to the remake "Clash of the Titans" brings action, drama, and amazing special effects.

The priorities for director Jonathan Liebesman and his team were not only to maintain the "massive sense of spectacle" from "Clash", but also to "achieve more emotion" by adding depth to the characters, and, as a result, the story itself. "Blending both things, it will be better than the first", said Liebesman, contrasting both the remake and this sequel. "Not only we wanted to go bigger, and more exciting, we wanted to go internal and show real emotions; they are gods, but incredibly human." added screenwriter Dan Mazeau.

The focus on the film for both main actors, Liam Neeson (Zeus) and Sam Worthington (Perseus), appears to be the sense of a family. "More important than the action is the creation of a character. In every scene I kept going back to the story, the family, the importance of family. It became the main factor." said Worthington.

The breathtaking effects is another thing that will make this film an instant classic in your eyes. Liebesman expressed how thrilled he was to have the same team that worked with the Harry Potter films on board for the special effects on this one, promising a "superior" 3D experience. Worthington added to this saying: "When used right and not exploited, it adds to the story. And the story has to be good in the first place. The audience will notice that with this film. The audience is smart, they know when you put the 3D on and it's just to make money". And we agree! Wrath of the Titans will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. It's a truly remarkable 3D IMAX experience.

Wrath of the Titans is now playing in theaters everywhere. It is Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of fantasy violence and action.
