The Mexican Regional Music Star Will Act Alongside Novela’s Actors, Litzy and Eugenio Siller, And Will Sing His Musical Hits In Episodes That Will Air Starting Tuesday, March 13

Regional Mexican music star Lupillo Rivera makes his debut as an actor with a special guest appearance in “Una Maid en Manhattan”, starting Tuesday, March 13 at 8pm/7c on Telemundo.

In this exclusive in the world of telenovelas, Lupillo will play himself in “Una Maid en Manhattan” in a colorful, light-hearted episode involving Cristóbal Parker’s (Eugenio Siller) electoral campaign. In the story, the famous singer is an honorary guest in an event organized by Maritza (Litzy) to raise votes in the community. During the event, Lupillo will sing hits like “El Enamorado” and “Quien Fuera El.” The singer will also delight viewers by dancing alongside with the novela’s “maids,” played by Litzy, Liz Gallardo, Maite Embil and Jeimy Osorio.

“This is the first time I’m in a telenovela, and I get to sing,” says Lupillo. “The size of the stage doesn’t matter; when you are an artist, any stage will make you nervous”, expressed Lupillo about his participation in “Una Maid en Manhattan”.

Known as “El Toro del Corrido” (The bull of corridos), Lupillo Rivera was born in La Barca, Jalisco, and, from a very young age, has had an incredible musical journey. Among his well-known musical productions are: “El Moreño,” “Despreciado,” “Sufriendo a Solas” and “Amorcito Corazón.” Other major productions in music career include: “Con Mis Propias Manos”, “El Rey de las Cantinas”, “Entre Copas y Botellas”, “Tú Esclavo y Amo”, “Las 24 Horas,” among others.
