“The Lorax” Among Sponsors for Univision's Premio Lo Nuestro Awards
The Univision Network, one of the top five networks in the U.S. regardless of language, announced today its roster of sponsors for the 24th annual edition of “Premio Lo Nuestro” Latin Music Awards.
Returning partners include Bud Light, Chevrolet, Comcast, Honda, L'Oréal Paris, McDonald’s, Old Navy and T-Mobile USA. BlackBerry, Domino’s Pizza, PepsiCo, State Farm and Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax” are new sponsors this year.
As voiced by Danny DeVito, the Lorax from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s upcoming 3D-CG feature “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax” will make a surprise appearance – rhyming in Spanish, no less – to present musical performer Sie7e onto the “Premio Lo Nuestro” stage. During the broadcast, a television spot that was specifically made for this telecast will premiere. It will include an exclusive scene from the animated adventure.
Live from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, the 2012 edition of “Premio Lo Nuestro” will air on the Univision Network on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, from 8 to 11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central).
