TeleFutura To Premiere International Hit Series "Family Guy"

TeleFutura Network announced the upcoming debut of "Family Guy," one of the most successful animated television series in U.S. history. The internationally-known series recognized for its irreverent humor and zany characters is sure to win over Hispanics across the country with its U.S. premiere in Spanish.

"Family Guy" tells the story of the Griffin family that lives in an imaginary but typical American city, Quahog, in the state of Rhode Island. The family consists of Peter (father), Lois (mother), Chris (son), Meg (daughter), Stewie (the baby) and Brian (the dog). Through them, we see how everyday situations can have crazy, outlandish and fun consequences.

Peter Griffin (the daddy of all fathers): Dad in the Griffin family is a middle-aged man who works at a toy factory and always has an unexpected and fun solution to the daily situations every family goes through.

Lois Griffin (the devoted mother): The voice of reason in the wacky Griffin household. Lois, who comes from a wealthy family, fell in love with Peter and married him against her family´s will. Peter was very lucky to marry Lois and, although they make an odd couple, they love each other to death. In her spare time, Lois teaches private piano lessons.

Chris (the dopey son): The first impression you get of Chris is that he´s a bit dopey. But when you get to know him, you notice that he can be brilliant about the most unexpected subjects, such as movies, TV or video games. He admires his father very much, but they don´t always see eye to eye.

Meg (the misunderstood teenager): Meg sometimes feels like a fish out of water. Her adolescent conflicts, combined with her family’s innate nuttiness, make Meg go through very embarrassing moments.

Brian (much more than a dog): Brian is the family dog, but in practical terms, he’s just another member of the family. Brian talks and interacts with others like a regular human being. He’s the family’s most cultured member and enjoys classical music, literature and good wine. Sometimes he acts as Peter’s conscience.

Stewie (the baby): There is more than meets the eye with this adorable baby. His childish games hide his obsession with conquering the world. Although Stewie seems to speak as an adult, nobody except for Brian the dog understands him. Together, Stewie and Brian take part in a series of parallel adventures that make them the series’ most adorable characters.

Premieres Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central) on TeleFutura.
