ROYCE RETURNS TO CHILE IN CONCERT
AT SANTIAGO'S MOVISTAR ARENA

The multiplatinum-selling artist who has achieved unprecedented success as a breakthrough singer-songwriter in the Latin music industry, won over the hearts of the Chilean people last night as he closed the fifth night of the prestigious Viña del Mar music festival, garnering three top awards: the Silver Seagull (Gaviota de Plata), the Gold Torch (Antorcha de Oro) and the Silver Torch (Antorcha de Plata).

"I owe this to the people of Chile who have welcomed me with so much love from the first time I came to this country. The energy I received from the audience was amazing and truly magical. This is a night I will never forget!" expressed the singer who, after a brief promotional trip to Argentina, returns to Chile to perform at the Movistar Arena in Santiago this Saturday, March 3rd.

The twenty-two year old performed an energetic set full of all of his radio hits, including "Corazón Sin Cara", "Stand By Me", "Mi Ultima Carta", "El Amor Que Perdimos", "Tu y Yo" and "Ven Conmigo" as well as three brand new songs that are part of his upcoming album "Phase II" to be released worldwide on April 10th. Among the new tracks, Royce performed current hit single "Las Cosas Pequeñas" as well as "Te Me Vas" and "Incondicional" (on which he was joined on stage by mariachis). The audience danced and sang along with their idol, cheering him on throughout the show.

Right before heading to Chile, Royce swept the twenty-fourth annual Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, taking home four awards, making him one of the biggest winners of the night alongside Shakira, who also garnered four awards.

The artist's phenomenal success is unprecedented in the Latin music industry. Royce closed 2011 having garnered eleven #1s on Billboard's Year End Charts, including: #1 Latin Album of the Year; #1 Hot Latin Song of the Year (for Corazón Sin Cara), #1 Top Latin Artist - Male; and #1 Hot Latin Songwriter of the Year.  With his self-titled debut album, he has been certified triple platinum in the US and Puerto Rico and double platinum in Chile; and has received four 2011 Latin Billboard Awards; three 2011 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards; four 2012 Premio Lo Nuestro; four 2011 Premios Juventud Awards and two Latin GRAMMY nominations (2010 & 2011).
