Intocable Among the Biggest Winners at Last Night's PREMIO LO NUESTRO
GROUP RECEIVES ALL 3 AWARDS THEY WERE NOMINATED FOR
Last night, the prodigal group INTOCABLE celebrated winning the three awards they were nominated for in the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro 2012. The group won the categories “Group or Duo, Regional Mexican”, “Norteño Artist of the Year”, and the coveted “Best Album of the Year, Regional Mexican”.
“Tonight was a great night for us. Having won the three nominations shows that people still continue to support even when we decided to forge an independent career under our own record label. We immensely appreciate the love and support each of our fans give us.” Said Ricky Munoz and Rene Martinez, founders of the group.
INTOCABLE also had a masterful performance at the ceremony, world premiering “Llueve”, the 4th single off of “Intocable 2011”. The song will be released to national and Mexican radio this coming Monday.
This album is the first under Good I Music, the group’s own label. “Intocable 2011” is an album that has caused a stir in the music world and has generated great critical acclaim and a never before seen response from fans of the genre. The album was also nominated for a GRAMMY, the Latin GRAMMY, and the Billboard Regional Mexican Awards.
After departing Miami, the group will continue their concert tour and will be performing on February 25 at the Gibson Theater in Los Angeles and March 31 in the Arena Mexico in Mexico City. The performance in Mexico will be a historic one given that this mark’s the first time a group of the Regional Mexican genre performs at this illustrious venue.
