LOVUMBA #1 on Hot Latin Songs

Daddy Yankee reaches #1 on Billboard's national Hot Latin Songs chart with his mega hit, LOVUMBA. This Thursday, the Big Boss returns to the Premio Lo Nuestro stage as the evening's opening performer with a spectacular production that no one has ever seen before on hispanic television. Premio Lo Nuestro will be aired on Univision.

Lovumba, which has spent 16 weeks on the Billboard charts has held the #1 spot on Latin Urban Chart for 10 consecutive weeks and #1 on the pop charts.

The single was written by Daddy Yankee and produced Grammy nominated team, Los De La Nazza (Musicologo y Menes). In just a few short weeks, the song's music video has reached over 6 million views on YouTube.

"LOVUMBA is the definition of LOVE AND RUMBA. It's a way to express love through music. The combination of love, music, and dance always creates memorable moments in life. These moments were what inspired me to create this song." explains Yankee.

LOVUMBA is part of Daddy Yankee's eighth studio album, "Prestige" which will be available in the coming months.
