by EAStaff | January 31, 2012

He's a vocalist and songwriter with the celebrated soul-influenced pop group Camila and the winner of important awards including the Latin Grammy®. Now, SESAC Latina-affiliated artist Samuel "Samo" Parra steps into the spotlight as the composer and performer of Sólo Por Amor (Only for Love). It's the theme song of the seductive new novela Relaciones Peligrosas (Dangerous Relationships), which recently debuted in the United States and Puerto Rico on the Telemundo network.

At the recent National Association of Television Program Executives conference in Miami Beach, Telemundo announced that Sólo Por Amor was written expressly for Relaciones Peligrosas by Samo.

Samo's song accompanies the dramatic progression of this novela, which is based on a Spanish series about forbidden love. The inclusion of Sólo Por Amor in a heavily promoted, prime-time novela represents an extraordinary achievement for Samo as a composer.

As a member of the Mexican group Camila, he will perform in February as part of the International Song Festival in Viña del Mar, Chile.
