Following the incredible success that 2011 brought to Daddy Yankee, The Big Boss is ready to kick off the new year with a scorching hot video for his chart topping smash, Lovumba. Currently at #1 on the urban charts, the video will premiere exclusively on VEVO Wednesday January 11.

The video was shot on location in Puerto Rico under the direction of Carlos "Bambam" Martin. It's no doubt that Daddy Yankee knows how to bring the heat when it comes to his music videos, but this time the award winning latin urban superstar has raised the bar once again. The video uses artistic light sequences, elaborate fountain displays, and explosive dance breaks to capture the elements of a party that only Daddy Yankee can bring. Each unique scene symbolic to the elements of ice, water, & fire. "I'm excited for people to see the video. I've always been very hands-on in the development of my video concepts and this has been an idea I've wanted to incorporate for a while now." says Yankee.

The video also includes another familiar face, that of Univision's Nuestra Belleza Latina contestant, Tatiana Delgado. "This has been an incredible experience, and I know that the public is going to love the result." says Delgado.

In addition to it's #1 spot on the urban charts, Lovumba also holds the #4 position in tropical and along with his previous single, Ven Conmigo is in the top 10 of Billboard's Hot Latin Songs. Daddy Yankee's eighth upcoming studio release Prestige is due out in the spring of this year.
